Season 12-Production Design
Built and filmed in Ironbound, Newark, New Jersey. Almost everything is done in-house.
Process: Starting off Point was Art Deco and the aurora borealis. I had been doing rooftop scouts for another project and at the end of the night we would stare in the NY sky.

The floor was painted. Everything was painted
Each one of these gold details was hand cut.
This drawing was done in Sketch up, as it was the way the Producers wanted it.
Using a dark color with gold had always been a motif in the show.
The Showrunner chose green and purple as general colors
Then we built over the course of a month with a pretty large non-union crew.
Each season the stage was built again and stuck again because of other shoots in the studio.
We tried to reuse as much as possible.
